John Knill Celebrations 2026 Souvenir Programme

On Saturday 25^th July 2026 the local community helped to preserve this old St Ives ceremony which has taken place for over 200 years. The John Knill Ceremony was first held in 1801 and is celebrated every 5 years. The souvenir programme contains information about John Knill, who was a customs officer of the port for a period of 20 years between 1762 and 1782.
